The day after Christmas, Bree and I joined my family in snowshoeing up Holbrook Canyon.  The snow was kind of packed down, but we had a fun afternoon together.  I did, however, learn that Joe (my dog) is a total wuss and is afraid of heights.    There is a section in which  narrow side-less bridge must be crossed about 6 feet over the unfrozen stream.  Joe was done.
