This weekend we took a little trip to Alpine in order to find out about the sliding rock.  It is apparently a really slick rock that a spring-fed river flows over.  Naturally, it makes a good water slide.  It is a little bit of a hike on a dusty road to get there, but it was awesome!  It is apparently a pretty popular place, in spite of the freezing water.
